A: "I don't know. Or at least I don't know if I know. And I don't even know if I care to know if I know."
B: "I don't know what you mean."
A: "You know, I mean I don't know what I mean. You know what I mean?"
B: "What do you mean you don't know what you mean? I don't know what you mean."
A: "I mean, you know, I don't know."
B: "You don't know? You mean that?"
A: "I don't know."
Sounds like someone does not have enough facts/knowledge to understand the things he/she wishes he/she could know....Just simply unsure of things. It is called "being dumbfounded".
